Create Me Free October 2024 Monthly Digest
A request for your input, Threadstack's new home and lots and lots of rich visual interviews and images
October was all about visual art!
I offer these monthly recaps for people who want to limit the “noise” that comes through inbox. It allows you to choose to receive just a once-monthly email linking to everything I wrote throughout the month, opening those articles at your own pace and desire.
In October, I decided to take a pause from all of the words, even though I love all of the words, to create some breathing room for both you and I by emphasizing visual art. I shared visual interviews (I love these, every single one touches me, more submissions are welcome!) I also shared my own visual art (collage, crochet, photography.) And just a few other things.
First, I would love your input…
I have this idea for a non-monetary community exchange space and I know exactly what I want to do but I don’t know logistically the best way to do it. Maybe you do. So please chime in.
Also important: Threadstack’s New Home
Threadstack - a directory and community for all things fiber and fabric, yarn and thread here on Substack - is now separate from Create Me Free. It’s its own Substack and requires its own (free) subscription.
That’s the annoucement, here’s the page:
