Art+Psychology Visual Interview: Danielle
One dozen images that describe one creative's experience of the relationship between art and mental health. Can you understand them?
October is going to be a month of mostly visual posts here at Create Me Free, and I am thrilled that some new visual interviews will be a big part of that. I offer the chance to answer questions about the relationship between art and psychology in images only (or images with words) because I belive that this offers something really powerful that is different than trying to answer in words.
Here are my hopes for these visual interviews:
Individuals who have difficulty answering questions about the relationship between art and mental health in words can answer in art.
People who “read” these interviews have the chance to process the responses at a visceral level.
Participants who choose to answer the interviews get something helpful/insightful/cathartic from the process.
I’m still open for new submissions if you’d like to give it a try.
