Ah, it took me several times reading over the word to see what you mean :) I never even thought about what people who sew are called! I wish I loved sewing. I always wanted to alter my own clothes and make quilts but I just really don’t enjoy sewing enough. Love reading about it and looking at images though! I will make that change when I update the directory again this week!
When I do sew, I sew by hand. The machine, though I’ve taken classes, always overwhelms and frustrates me! Sewing by hand is definitely more relaxing for me. <3

Right now, I only make bags and purses, but I want to learn to quilt. I do all of my sewing by hand.
