I love cultivating community in the art+psychology niche and some of that happens over in my Notes. I also like collecting the poignant and pertinent and pretty things in one place each week so that it doesn’t all just get lost to the scroll.
I remind myself of this today because there have been a lot of conversation about Notes and I’ve often found myself feeling like all my notes just go into the void, eaten up by an algorithm, ignored for this reason or that. And then it makes me wonder why I’m spending my time there. And then I have some magical connection and I remember that this is the real reason why.
And I just noticed that even though most of my shares only get a couple “hearts,” this one resonated more, which actually really warms my heart:
