I love this so much!!! I have been trying to find a flow with learning fiber arts, but teaching myself has made for slow and spotty progress.
And I have had similar struggles with launching offerings and my personal life… so I appreciate your transparency with how you are pivoting. I am in a space of re-figuring out how to offer my work in a way that is nourishing for me and my clients. Thank you for this inspiration!
I get that about the flow - I still don't have a flow with knitting even though I've learned it both on my own and in a class. It just isn't natural for me, whereas crochet I picked up quickly and it flows easily. We all find different things eventually.
It was really uncomfortable launching ... and then realizing almost immediately that I was going to have to pivot, not knowing exactly how, and having to tell the few supporters that had invested already that it was going to shift. But it's what had to happen and now it feels much better!
