Craft to Heal Monthly Chapters Have Launched + Bonus Material!
New insights into how to use fiber arts/crafts as a way to heal, grow, and connect to others
Craft to Heal is a yearlong content series providing information, insight, tips and tools about how to use fiber arts/crafts as a way to heal, grow, and connect to others. Each month, a new section becomes available. The first 50 page booklet is available now as a free download.
Does this sound familiar? A few months ago, I tried to launch Craft to Heal as a workshop series. Unfortunately, it didn’t go the way that I had hoped. There wasn’t enough interest to sustain regular workshops. Plus, my own situation shifted, and it’s hard to offer workshops at a specific time right now while things are in flux. I was disappointed. But I wasn’t completely stymied. I just had to revamp the plan. So, instead of workshops, I’m offering this material as monthly booklets, based around themes.
Why Craft to Heal? Why Now?
2025 marks the 10-year anniversary of my book Hook to Heal, and it felt like the perfect time to revisit, expand, and evolve the work. We’re living in times that call for resilience, connection, and introspection. I believe craft can help with all of that, and I know many of you do too.
This series is for anyone who wants to be more intentional with their creativity, who wants to explore what their craft can teach them about themselves and their world. Whether you’re a crocheter, knitter, quilter, sewist, or simply someone who loves making with your hands, this series is an invitation to explore craft as a tool for healing, self-discovery, and community connection.
A Flexible Plan
Every month for the next year, I will create a new PDF chapter full of insights, exercises, and gentle guidance. Each one explores a different theme, beginning with grounding and awareness practices and eventually moving into community, creativity, and personal transformation. The materials are intentionally structured but flexible. They stand on their own or can be followed sequentially for a full experience.
You can purchase each chapter on its own. Alternatively, you can subscribe monthly or even pre-pay for the year’s worth of materials.
In addition to the monthly PDFs, I’ll be offering supplemental materials that may include:
Downloadable worksheets to help you personalize your journey
Booklets and ‘zines expanding on chapter details
Academic research reports into the nitty gritty of the science of making
Audio content for grounding, reflection, or mindful making sessions
Workshops … I still want to have them, just in a more flexible way as life permits

I believe deeply in how the fiber arts can heal and am excited to share my years of research into this with you.
I love this so much!!! I have been trying to find a flow with learning fiber arts, but teaching myself has made for slow and spotty progress.
And I have had similar struggles with launching offerings and my personal life… so I appreciate your transparency with how you are pivoting. I am in a space of re-figuring out how to offer my work in a way that is nourishing for me and my clients. Thank you for this inspiration!
