I have observed that time does not operate the same way post-2020.

True. And it coincides with changes in my own life that also seem to alter time.

How’s your pup? Our dog has that surgery last year on both legs.

Did you do one leg and then the other? I think that's what we're going to have to do. Her second back leg is going to need it but we're hoping to wait a year if we can. We'll see. She's recovering well although as you know it's a long process!

Yes, we did one leg, and then about six months later, we had to do the other leg. They gave her stronger meds the second time, like a cocktail that really put her out. This helped all of us as she wasn't up crying all night, which was awful the first time. She healed really well after both surgeries and has been able to go on long walks and short hikes. She is old and still gets achy and limps sometimes, but it was most definitely worth it. Good luck!

I am really glad to hear that the surgeries went well. Since Kya is not even two years old, she needs to be using these legs actively for a long time! The sedatives really aren't doing much to calm her down. We've already increased them and didn't change much. She's not crying though and really doesn't seem to be in pain. She just thinks she's ready to play and jump and bounce and wrestle when she's not supposed to :)

That is the other hard part, keeping them from hurting themselves.

Now that better half isn’t working, weeks don’t seem to have many weekdays. Last eeek I thought it was Friday 3 days in a row, followed by 2 Sundays. 🤔

lol - my partner now works Monday - Wednesday and my school days are Monday and Thursday so we've both been all thrown off.
