Really like the way you define different ways of being creative, that aren’t the typical ways we think of it as artistic expression. Ex: “Sometimes the art I create is the words that I’m saying to a therapist as I try to puzzle through what it all means and how to keep moving forward.” Excited to think about this more. Thank you!

Thanks, I think there’s a broad way of looking at creativity that personally I find to be a helpful lens.

Thanks for writing this. I make a point of asking my patients about the art they draw. Lots to say on this topic.

I think it’s wonderful that you ask them what they draw!

What an interesting method of designing a “conversation” between Creativity and Health! I’d be interested in email-interviewing you for the Creative Humans section of On Humnanity substack, if you’d like, for a future spotlight: https://onhumanity.substack.com/s/creative (Feel free to let me know at any time if you’d like to answer a few questions about your creative journey, the behind-the-scenes work!)
