I hadn't listened to her in a bit and learned that she's coming to play here in a few months so I decided to get her back onto my ears.

Thanks for tagging me in here! You’ve got me in some great company. I hope a lot of people saw that thread about tithing and act on it. It’s a small ask, but can mean so much to the recipient.

I absolutely agree - and it's good for the giver, too, in my experience. I never feel guilt or shame or anything weird about spending that percent on supporting other creatives!

Ah love this. I love the switch from content creation because I feel I β€˜should’ to writing and drawing what I love and sharing it just for the joy, the connection and the conversation. And thanks for the shout out, and congratulations on your 10!

Permission accepted. Do you also have a fairy godmother wand that grants more time? So much to read AND so much to write!

I wish I did! I do find, however, that when I give my time to the pleasure of reading and writing, it creates a spaciousness that makes me feel like I've used my time better. But it also creates unwashed dishes in the sink so there's a tradeoff :)

I have experienced the spaciousness of which you speak! Clean dishes are overrated anyway.

Love your round-ups, though I don't know how you have the time, it is a great overview, reminder and introduction to other writers and commentators. Thank you for my mention.

I carve out the time intentionally by adding some of it into the morning reading-writing routine I'd already created for myself, some into the space where I was watching too much reality TV, and some in the space where I should probably be doing other things :)

Thanks for connecting with me here!

Loving the connection. And I do the β€˜should probably be doing other things’ a lot too!
