As someone who struggled with both anxiety and depression at the same time in my twenties, and who has used art and creativity to heal and enjoy life again, this resonates deeply. Thank you for interviewing Mariah!
I really appreciated the way that Mariah explained her experience of how the anxiety and depression are related. Her way with words opened up new thoughts for me on this topic. Thanks for reading!!
Really enjoyed this interview Mariah & Kathryn - the way you explain so eloquently your relationship between anxiety and creativity really resonated. Also how it takes a lot of energy to do allow the things that keep you feeling well too, I felt that. And just how much beauty there is in creating, even when it feels painful, like when you lost your Dad. I remember writing letters to my Dad just after he'd passed away and seeking out poetry to try and find the words for what I was feeling. ❤️

Thank you for reading, Linda! And thanks to Kathryn for holding space for our experiences to find resonance with others. 💗
I am glad I am able to help create that space. <3
