Because I love words but sometimes we don’t have the words or there aren’t right words or the words aren’t enough … sometimes we can share our experiences best in images. Saxxon does so magically ...
I find it so inspiring! As someone who uses possibly too many words to describe everything, I love seeing something so different from how I usually express myself.

Thank you for the prod to comment further! As I read/viewed the answers, I saw that not only were there answers to questions, but that the artwork also stood as statements in their own right and took the "conversation" in a different direction. I also reflected that while we sometimes hide behind words, perhaps via coy euphemisms, there was nothing coy about this. It felt very direct.
Oh I love this point about how sometimes we can hide in words in ways that we can't or don't hide in images. I think people tend to believe the opposite is true but both can be true.
Such a great way to share; Saxxon's art has a powerful way to get to the heart of the emotion. I know I tend to be swayed by colours, i.e. I might enjoy art more if the harmony of its chosen colours talk to me, so monochrome allows me to notice the emotions with better focus.
I like this take on the "assignment"!

Wow, this was so powerful!
Thanks - I was so inspired by it as well. If you have any thoughts on what you moved you, I’d always love to hear!

Saxxon also has some beautiful work in color so it was definitely a choice to go this route here and makes a lot of sense to me. <3
