My June included seeing a Frameline film festival film at Roxie and cabaret at Martuni’s, seeing extended family from graduations and out of town guests, coastal drive for mead tasting, East Bay drive for Blackhawk museum, small art workshop and lots of stuff around the house.

Changes Around Here
Things are shifting around here a little bit to adapt to my changing energy and needs. Instead of doing weekly artist letters and themed posts, I’m going to start doing them monthly. And I’ll be adding two paywalled posts per month: a deep How To guide and a deep dive into an artist’s health + creativity. And over on Threadstack will be another two paywalled posts, similar to those, but geared towards fiber artists and yarn lovers. Podcast episodes will continue weekly for now.
Check out the first two paywalled articles:

I am so grateful to the people who shared my work on their Substacks in participation with my virtual book tour.
Special gratitude to my June stops: Mariah Friend, Emma Simpson, Monique Mulligan, Keva Epale, and Sam Galloway (she/her) 💕

This is the monthly recap of everything I wrote in June plus some life updates and other things. If you like to keep your inbox quiet, you are able to subscribe just to these monthly updates. Here’s how.

I like the way this keeps creative health grounded in real life and recurring practice instead of one-off inspiration. It feels like movement, not just content.
