This is the monthly recap of everything I wrote in February plus some life updates and other things. If you like to keep your inbox quiet, you are able to subscribe just to these monthly updates. Here’s how.
I swear I blinked and suddenly February was gone. Some of that was probably because I caught a cold that really lingered and knocked me out and it felt like I slept through half the month but also somehow managed to be really busy.
Fun Free Quiz!
The thing I did that I’m most excited about is that I created a quiz to help people discover their Creative Health Archetype within my unique framework. The idea is that you answer 17 questions (it’s free, of course) and you receive an overview of the archetype that may apply to you most right now, hopefully giving insight into where creative blocks and strengths may be. You have the option after the quiz of getting a totally free PDF download with exercises and thoughts for your specific archetype:
New Workbook!
I also designed a new Creative Health Cartography workbook that helps you to explore all of the areas where I’ve found that health often impacts creativity … plus it has a “Reverse Lens” section talking about how creativity can impact health. The PDF is ready for purchase on my website and the print version is almost ready via Amazon.
Life and Things

Things I Wrote in February:
I finally updated what THREADSTACK has transformed into since it didn’t really take off as a directory/community. You can read the new About here. And over there I published a book review of Nicole Nehrig’s With Her Own Hands: Women Weaving Their Stories.

Dear Artist Letters
Every Sunday, I share letters for artists who might be going through specific challenges. I hope that sometimes they resonate. In February I shared:
February Themes
On Wednesdays, I take inspiration from the week’s artist letter and provide more researched and grounded writing on that theme along with links to related writing. February’s themes were:
Inspiring Guests!
I was also honored this month to have the chance to share an interview-based set of short essays from Nigerian artist ROM:
As well as a terrific guest post from Dawna Kreis | Emberkeeper ❤️🔥:
And a roundup of quotes I loved around Substack:
And here’s another post about the quiz because I’m really excited about it:
I’m the writer for this monthly newsletter:
I was happy to see that I was included in Textile Indie’s Links We Love. They featured this piece:
And I’ve got an interview of me over at WritersHQ
And that wraps February! I hope that the month has been kind to you and that you’ve been kind to yourself.

I love this quiz and the patterns identified!
