April’s Craft to Heal workshops/ resources are on the topic of utilizing your favorite fiber craft (knitting, crochet, embroidery, weaving, quilting, whatever it may be) to begin or deepen awareness practices.

We explore the term “mindfulness” including its limitations and connotations. We look at other specific practices including grounding, focus, and flow. We explore how this differs from meditation. And we look at how to increase the benefits of these states through fiber arts practices.
In April, there are two online workshops:
Tuesday, 4/8/25 at 1 pm CA time (60 minute informative session)
Wednesday, 4/23/25 at 10 am CA time (90 minute interactive exercise-based practice session).
Anyone who signs up receives the Zoom recordings of those workshops whether or not you’re able to attend live. Plus, you receive the chapter-length PDF of related materials. Don’t worry if you’re not seeing this until after April 8th. As long as you sign up in April, you get the materials.
